They specialise in creating complex metals and components to make equipment for fascinating applications around the world. The company currently generates over £8 million of sales per annum.

There is an opportunity for an operator to join their NDT team as a trainee NDT technician, within their growing manufacturing company.

An NDT technician is responsible for ensuring the product is fit for purpose and meets all the requirements set out by our customers, using 3 main testing methods (ultrasonic testing, liquid penetrant testing and visual testing).

Minimum qualifications:
- GCSE level C in Maths and English.

Skills required:
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft programmes such as Word & Excel.
- Being able to deadlines and plan appropriately.
- Good time keeping.
- Ability to follow instruction given by qualified staff.
- Ability to work consistently during high pressured periods.
- Methodical approach to all tasks undertaken.
