A Trainee Sales Person is required to join this Commercial Kitchen Deep Cleaning specialist based in Bromsgrove. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to be trained in all aspects of New Business Development including prospecting strategies and activity, sales skills, negotiating and closing.

Salary starts from £15k but is negotiable based on your experience and with a realistic bonus and commission scheme you can expect to earn £25k, these additional earnings are uncapped.

A training and development program will be put in place to provide the required level of industry knowledge and to develop your sales skills. Training will be delivered in the form of both professionally led classroom based training and on the job coaching and development.

Key Tasks include:

- Telephone Prospecting – Using a database, scheduling and making calls, collecting key sales information, qualifying customers and arranging meetings and recording all information and communications held.
- Field Prospecting – Cold Calling unknown customers and gaining key sales qualification information and known prospects to gain further information to assist sales process.
- Marketplace research – Using the internet and business networking tools to find new customers and develop contacts within existing customers.
- Submit sales orders to service team together with all other information required to enable a successful start to the contract.
- Assist with the management of current contract customers, tracking orders, identifying additional opportunities and updating the sales forecast.
- Record all communications and sales activity in database.

To flourish in this role the successful applicant must have an abundance of enthusiasm and determination and this will ensure you can capitalise on the opportunity and achieve the potential rewards the role has to offer. You must be able to demonstrate a confident and professional telephone manner, a good level of general Microsoft Office skills and be able to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines.
