This company is a well-respected provider of Energy Consultancy and Compliance Services to a wide range of construction professionals on both a national and regional level.

As a result of their continued growth within the new build energy sector, they have an excellent development opportunity for a Trainee Air Tightness Technician to join their multi-disciplined team.

The role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop a new career within a specialist and growing field of the Construction Industry. In the first instance you will be mentored by their team of experienced Technicians and Consultants whilst you gain knowledge of their industry and business.

Following the completion of a successful probationary period, you will then attend a fully funded independent training course with the intention of you becoming formally qualified and accredited as an Air Tightness Technician. This will then allow you to independently carry out air tightness testing on building sites.

The role involves working remotely on building sites across the country and as such consideration would be given to applicants outside of the Nottingham area that would be interested in remote working after the initial training period.

Some knowledge of construction would be beneficial but is not essential.

They are looking for candidates who have:
- A positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- The confidence required to carry out testing on busy construction sites
- An ability to stay cool under pressure
- The ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- The availability to work away with overnight stays
- Eligibility to work in the UK

A full UK driving licence is essential as a company vehicle will be provided.

Applicants should ideally be educated to at least an A-level standard with an emphasis on technical and mathematical related subjects. Since written and verbal communication is a vital part of the role, it will also be important for candidates to demonstrate a strong command of English.
