An opportunity has arisen for a skilled enthusiastic Tool setter to join their team.
Established in 1947, the family business has gained an enviable reputation on a global scale. Leading manufacturer of metal pressings and metal / plastic sub-assemblies for the world’s leading automotive, electronic and medical industries. Based in West Bromwich with excellent transport links to and from Birmingham and the Black Country.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Set and run plant and equipment in line with company quality standards and production targets
- Complete all relevant production documentation
- Responsible for inspection and quality of all product
Experience required:
- A working Knowledge of mechanical presses
- Proven ability to set and operate Bruderer Press, HME and Haulick Roos
- Able to work to engineering drawings / work instructions
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with Bruderer Presses, HME and Haulick ROOS and be confident as a setter/operator.
This will suit someone that currently works in the automotive or aerospace industry with the responsibility of managing own work load, and setting presses. successful candidates will be asked on their interview to explain how they would go about setting one of the presses mentioned above.
