What does the role entail?

This role involves speaking to their customers in order to manage difficult financial situations and establish agreeable repayment plans where this is deemed appropriate. They pride ourselves on their excellent delivery of customer service and fair and ethical treatment of customers - so making sure you do the right thing for their customers is extremely important to them.

As part of their ethical culture, they only encourage customers to pay what they can afford. You will gain an understanding of each customer's circumstances by conducting an assessment of their incoming and outgoing expenses in order to ensure that any repayment plan is appropriate.

You will also direct their customers to free money advice services, such as the Citizen's Advice Bureau, and put accounts on hold in appropriate circumstances.

Ideal candidate experience

- Previous experience working in a customer service environment such as retail, call centres, hospitality etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to liaise with all levels of personnel appropriately and professionally.
- Ability to build rapport and engage communication with any audience. Communicating logically and using language to fit the audience.

They also require a minimum of Grade C or above at GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English.

Additional Information

The starting salary is £18,000 per annum, with the opportunity to earn up to 15% monthly bonus, based on call quality and delivery of positive customer experience.

The working patterns available are:

10:30 – 19:00 Monday to Friday
OR
11:30 – 20:00 Monday to Friday
OR
4 days per week 09:00 – 17:30, 1 day per week 10:00 –20:00 plus every other Saturday 09:00 – 13:30 with a day off in lieu during that week
