This Aerospace company are looking for an integral Technician to work positively within various teams dealing with the maintenance, repair and overhaul of life saving aircraft components, specifically oxygen cylinders and or Fire extinguishers.

This role will include servicing & testing oxygen cylinders and valve assemblies. This position is engineer based and would suit candidates who are reliable with an interest in aeronautical engineering or by someone who already has technical/mechanical skills. You must have excellent literacy and numeracy skills and you will be required to work efficiently, respecting and achieving department, company & business goals.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the correct revision of the manual
- Ensure that any ambiguities in maintenance/company data are reported to the Workshop Supervisor
- Ensure correct work practices & quality procedures are carried out accordingly.
- Meet customer Turn Around Times
- Aid with the improvement of efficiency within the department and create a team ethos
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail at all times with a high quality perspective
- Ensure work is prioritised effectively
- Ensure good Housekeeping within the area
- Adhere to the appropriate health and safety standards at all times
- Liaise with the Area Team Leader/Workshop Supervisor continually to ensure targets are met and understood
- To complete any other tasks as delegated by the department Team Leader/Workshop Supervisor to suit the needs of the business
- Have a commitment to “Continuous Improvement” e.g. LEAN
