IT network base systems and solutions are becoming the norm of our day-to-day lives, both at work and at home, and it’s no different for the Television Broadcast industry. The days of the traditional point-to-point architecture is disappearing and is rapidly being replaced by IT Network solutions.

We are looking for keen and enthusiastic engineers/technicians with a real passion for Network topology and design to become part of our UK based team. Prior knowledge of the broadcast industry is not a requirement, what we are looking for is your IT & Network skills.

We are a global technology company committed to servicing our customers worldwide. The role encompass many aspects including the direct support of their customer base, onsite & remote commissioning and training.

This position is a challenging mix that combines technical know-how and customer service skills and at times includes traveling to our customer’s production studios and distribution facilities throughout the UK, Europe and other countries of the world.

Responsibilities:
- To respond and provide technical direction to customers regarding operational issues, configuration, firmware upgrades and general maintenance.
- To assess the customer’s product application, troubleshoot and diagnose issues through research and/or re-creation to determine the root cause.
- To install products or systems at customer sites and deliver training to customers in-house or abroad.
- To maintain a communication link between customer service and other departments by partnering to resolve customer issues and communicating customer feedback to aid in design changes including customer “feature requests” to product managers.
- To recommend solutions utilising various levels of technical language appropriate to the customer in a timely, clear and professional manner.

Qualifications:
- A passion and wide-ranging understanding of Network topology and design
- Direct experience with Network infrastructure and Server Hardware setup is an asset
- Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Electronic Technician education
- Unparalleled desire to help the customer and deliver service excellence
- Passion for technology and learning new software and hardware products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills Problem-solving ability and able to react to changing situations
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be eligible for international travel and be able to work alone with little or no supervision
