As the business continues to evolve, they are now in a position to create a key new role of Technical Support Engineer for the business. This role offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to influence and make a difference.


Reporting to the Technical Director, you will:
- Provide technical online telephone support to both electrical engineers in the field, and end users.
- Provide technical support to the Inhouse Research and Development department as required.
- Communicate, implement, and maintain company policy and procedures, as well as developing & implementing proposed service improvements, procedures etc.
- Maintain standards, including quality, health and safety, hygiene and housekeeping.

Key skills/competences required for this role include:
- Knowledge of Renewable Technologies, preferably Solar PV and Wind essential.
- Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 essential.
- Electrical engineering experience essential.
- Experience of fault diagnostics, electronic repair to PCB level & maintenance would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience of electronics manufacturing would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Must be IT literate and possess strong verbal communication skills.

The business will be relocating within a 30mile radius over the next 18 - 24 months.
