A Technical Support Engineer is required to join a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. They have a team of 18 highly committed, friendly and capable people – some of the best you can work with. They provide clients with maintenance, support and solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service to clients, up to a senior level
- Act as an escalation point for technical team
- Pro-active project contribution / implementation including liaising with clients and colleagues
- Troubleshoot problems by telephone, remote access and on-site visits
- Help improve company systems, procedures and knowledge
- Ad hoc and planned mentoring of technical colleagues
- System builds, configuration and installation (remote or on-site)
- Diligent documentation and time-recording
- Solution design and research and development for internal and client use

Skills and Experience:

- At least one MCP, and a desire to get more certifications
- 2 years+ in a client-facing support role
- Confident communicating, both verbally and written
- Well-organised, thorough and a stickler for detail
- Want to take part in projects
- Enjoy helping people and working in a team, learning quickly and sharing knowledge
- Love technology, especially Microsoft (we work with Windows Server 2012 & 2016, Exchange, Windows 10, Office365), Apple, Webroot, firewalls (Cisco Meraki), networking, virtualisation (Hyper-V), Datto
- Take pride in your work and want to deliver a professional service

- Certain exams are required and you will need to update qualifications regularly. They provide books, test exams, equipment, access to colleagues for advice and pay for the first sitting of any required exams
