This market leader in the plastics ancillary equipment sector is recruiting for an ambitious sales professional to assume responsibility for sales either running a territory or developing a product area, in either case, there will be a key focus on growing the account base through new business activities.

They are interested in hearing from the right candidates nationwide as they potentially have more than one role, as part of their ongoing growth strategy.

A market leader in the plastics industry and winners of multiple awards for service and innovation, this company supply plastics ancillary equipment to all sectors including Packaging, Automotive, Construction, Pharmaceuticals, and Food.

This position will be supported by an internal sales department, marketing, technical, engineering and project teams to help you maximize service and sales growth.

Responsible for driving sales within your account base as well as acquiring new customers, additional responsibilities will be to maintain a high level of relevant technical knowledge and driven to innovate for customers.

To truly make a difference, as the role requires, you will ideally have the some of the following skills/experience:

- Proven sales background, able to demonstrate success in managing accounts and acquiring new business.
- Experience in and technical knowledge of the Plastics Industry.
- Selling skills and techniques, able to question and listen effectively, this is a problem-solving role.
- Confident verbal communication, able to build internal and external relationships.
- Have sold to the Packaging, Automotive, Construction, Pharmaceutical or Food industries.
- Be driven, ambitious, challenging the status quo.
- Be able to use Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. You will be expected to use a CRM system.
