Location: Field based

Salary: In the region of: £35-40,000 basic salary + OTE. Company car, smartphone and laptop provided.

They pride themselves on the educational working relationships that they build with their clients, listening to their needs to provide cost-effective solutions.

They are currently recruiting for a committed, proactive Technical Sales Engineer with a passion to deliver sales growth nationwide. This is a role filled with prospects for a self-motivated sales professional.

This B2B sales role requires regular UK-wide travel, prospecting new OEMs and end-user customers, and closing on-line enquiries. Reporting to the Sales Director the successful candidate will be well presented, highly motivated and able to work independently. Key responsibilities will include client consultations, site evaluations, new business development, and follow-up of office generated quotations.

Due to the nature of our business the successful candidate must possess a technical mind and be capable of communicating with people at all levels. Any experience in the cooling industry (or related industry) will be advantageous, however full product training and ongoing technical support will be provided.

To be successful at this role ideally you would have the following skills/experience:
- Proven background in technical sales.
- A formal engineering qualification is advantageous.
- Experience of cooling or related industries is advantageous.
- Ability to effectively organise your time and workload to maximise opportunities to visit and sell to prospects whilst being able to sensibly leave those leads that will not end in fruition.
- A confident verbal communicator who can build relationships and utilise appropriate sales techniques, such as good questioning and listening and comfortable with cold calling.
- A quick learner who can confidently gain a thorough understanding of the products on offer and the benefits they can provide to the target market.
- Have good IT skills, be numerate and literate.
- Have strong business ethics and value customer partnerships.
- A current UK driving licence.
