This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established distributor and manufacturer of oils, greases and related fluids. They have been trading for 25 years with roots that go back much further. The business is enjoying a period of sustained and profitable growth.

They distribute high quality lubricants for major multi-nationals, including Chemours, PetroCanada and Anderol into a range of sectors including industrial vacuum, aerospace, defence, automotive, Formula One, metal manufacture, chemical, food and other industries. They also have a growing manufacturing business supplying fluids into the sports turf industry.

They have a vacancy for a technical sales role to both service and develop some of their existing customer base but crucially to continue to grow their business further with new accounts. This role will focus mostly on specialist and general lubricants into the UK and Ireland manufacturing sector.

You will join a highly competent, motivated and friendly team and your results will contribute to the growth of the company. You will be based ideally from their office in Berkshire and will spend a significant portion of your time visiting customers in the UK and Ireland as well as limited international travel from time to time.

Their working week runs Monday to Friday with a holiday entitlement of 25 days plus public holidays.

Expected salary will be in the range of £27K to £47K per annum (depending upon experience, attributes and qualifications) plus company car and additional bonus elements. Bonus elements are likely to comprise a monthly profit share as well as a sales target driven bonus. There is also a company pension scheme.

The candidate should have a working knowledge of relevant sectors of the UK manufacturing industry and will have a successful sales track record in lubricants. An engineering background/qualification would be desirable but not essential.

The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to form strong working customer relationships.
