This company manufacture bespoke windows and doors for a range of vehicles from ambulances to welfare units supplying customers across the UK and in Europe. Their customers rely on them to provide quality products and excellent customer service. As part of a small close-knit Sales and Design team working in a fast paced office there is plenty of scope for job satisfaction.
You will play a key role in achieving satisfaction for their customers from initial contact through to the delivery of the product. Key elements are;
- interaction with the customer by phone and e mail to understand their needs
- guidance of customer on how best to use their products for their use
- production of technical drawings to define agreed specification
- pricing using provided spreadsheet
- preparation of internal worksheets and specifications for the factory
- accurate order processing
- communication with the customer regarding deliveries, payment etc.
- arranging export deliveries
Skills & Experience:
- Degree or equivalent in engineering, CAD or design
- Numerate
- Confident verbal and written communication. Experience of working in a customer facing role with customer satisfaction as key indicator
- Attention to detail
- Flexibilty
- Experience of SolidWorks or DrafIt an advantage
In addition to the basic salary, after 3 months you will be eligible to be included in a general staff bonus scheme that is based on achieved sales and quality measures. They have a pension scheme that conforms to the Auto Enrolment rules and also applies after 3 months.
They are near the entrance to Sherburn Industrial Area and have free car parking. The rail station is 5 minutes walk away and is on the York to Selby and Hull and the York to Sheffield routes.
