This company are a Loughborough based live corporate events and bespoke creative technical solutions company. They develop interactive experiential marketing solutions, create custom exhibition stands and deliver inventive conference production for major UK and international brands. The successful candidate will thrive on managing the different stages of multiple events concurrently and turn their clients' creative concepts in to reality.

Responsibilities

The Typical Lifecycle of an Event:

Where it all begins … (Pitching and Quoting)
- You’ll liaise with the client to fully understand their vision for the event and respond as required - ranging from a basic quotation to a formalised pitch or tender, encompassing the proposal of innovative technical solutions, visualisations, delivery timelines and budgets.

Behind the scenes magic … (Pre-Production)
- Creating a structured event plan, detailing custom build requirements, specifying equipment needs and setting a clear delivery timeline
- Through clear communication and the production of detailed technical drawings, you will instruct the relevant departments of all build and technical requirements and delegate tasks as appropriate to utilise your skilled colleagues' expertise
- Logistical planning of the event, including: site visits, allocating internal staff, organising crew and booking contractors, trucking, transport, accommodation and equipment hire
- Managing the clients expectations, maintaining regular dialogue to ensure any changes to requirements are accommodated, budgets are approved, guaranteeing profitability of the project

Delivering the event … (On site)
- Management of crew including ensuring safe working practices are adhered to
- Oversight of installation, ensuring the required quality of finish is delivered to schedule
- Managing the live show process
- Derigging of the event, to ensure equipment and scenery are returned in a satisfactory manner

Tying it all up ... (Post Event)
- Conducting a full debrief with the client and internal stakeholders to learn lessons from each event and amend best practice standards going forward

The role will include UK and international travel as well as working non-standard hours.

- All-round knowledge of production disciplines: sound, lighting, video, rigging, staging, scenery and technical integration, transport, logistics, and health and safety
- Strong problem-solving skills; the ability to analyse a task / situation and implement an appropriate solution
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A passion for delivering high-quality production and exceeding client’s expectations
- Excellent communication, leadership and team working skills

They'd love you to have:
- 3+ years experience of technical live event production at a project management level
- Strong business acumen to identify business opportunities and develop client relationships
- Ability to produce technical drawings and visualisations
