This company is looking to recruit an Technical Product Assistant. This role is based within the Product team with the purpose of assisting in the provision of training and technical ventilation knowledge and support within the marketing team and across all departments, sectors and brands within the business.
MAIN DUTIES
- Day to day running of training courses both internal and external (NIC EIC / BPEC)
- Provide general technical PM support and assist with product launches and the setup of new variants from existing parts
- Support the Technical Product Manager with management of the technical data and functionality within all their on line selection tools – such as fan selection and heating selection programs.
- Assist in the provision of an escalation path in support of the PM and external sales teams for complex technical issues either pre or post sales on and off site across VVUK of as required.
- Provide technical competitor comparison to support to the product managers on marketing briefs
- Assist with the intercompany product support and technical issue resolution in conjunction with the responsible product managers.
- Assist with the management of all technical data in PIM and other selection tools
- Provide PM support for new supplier investigation
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver training to their internal teams building their organisations core competence to better support their customers.
- Assist in the day to day operation of their internal and external resource to provide the NICEIC training program ensuring that best in class training is provided to their customers.
- Work with the sector PM to launch new product variants from existing products as required in order to support the cross selling activity
- Maintain the technical product information held in the PIM and other tools to ensure all technical product data is correct and always up to date and ready to distribute to customers.
