Purpose:
To design and develop new digital print designs for our core and custom-made portfolio across multiple market segments that are in line with market, customer, aesthetic, environmental requirements in order to build a leading market position and contributing to Ambition 2026.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
Design, Print Management and Interpretation
- Design and develop new digital prints across multiple market segments ensuring the business meets the ever-changing demands
- Responsible for designing prints (customer artwork / original artwork) into repeats as final artwork, including editing, colour separation, recolouring and matching colour
- Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
- Support and contribute to the development of the creative vision and direction by providing the relevant digital print expertise and insight required
- Ensure that creativity, together with innovation, technical performance and environmental sustainability
- Demonstrate a ‘one team’ approach through collaborative working, engaging with internal customers ensuring effective communication, feedback and follow up to eliminate silos
- Deliver high housekeeping duties and update records of departmental information using the internal systems accurately and in a timely manner in line with ISO 9001
- Such other duties as may from time to time be reasonable required

Research, Trend Insight and Understanding the Customer
- Show an understanding of the global textile market
- Research and present printed trend directions to the design team, customers and external collaborators as appropriate
- Work collaboratively with the Innovation and Technical functions to translate high concept ideas into commercially viable printed products
- Make valuable contributions to all design / creative meetings
- Produce physical mood boards / digital presentations to inspire our customers in order to support growth within Digital Print

Knowledge and Competency Profile
- Printed Textiles Design related degree or equivalent
- Experience in Print Management software
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite, Nedgraphics, Print Management Software, PowerPoint and Microsoft packages
- An excellent knowledge of all aspects of the printing processes
- Knowledge and ability to CAD up print repeats as final artwork, edit, colour separate, recolour and match colour
- Drawing and hand painted skills are also advantageous for this role
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent conceptual skills to work up ideas and be energetic about presenting ideas and concepts to customers, both existing and new
- Proven ability to demonstrate new technical solutions and creativity, whilst assessing its commerciality
- Excellent verbal, written and platform communication skills both internally and externally
- Drive and energy with the ability to inspire and motivate others
