This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Parts Advisor to join this reputable company, working in the independent automotive aftermarket at their new site.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls in line with agreed service standards
- Provide customers with information about part options or variations
- Provide remote technical support to help customers resolve problems via appropriate diagnostic processes
- Support customers to identify the correct part for their application via electronic catalogues and internal databases
- Handle cross referencing queries from the Technical Helplines
- Investigate customer queries regarding application, fitting and operation of supplied parts
- Support sales team through the sharing of knowledge, ideas and experience
Skills and Experience
- Excellent and verbal and written communication
- Technical knowledge and understanding of vehicles
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office Applications
- Communicate confidently to colleagues and customers
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
