This company supplies, installs and supports ink jet coding equipment and industrial laser marking systems in the UK. Due to recent growth, additional technical capacity is now required to assist our Operations Director at our technical facility in Sheffield.

This role provides a wonderful opportunity for someone to learn our operations from the bottom up and progress to become an integral member of our operations and technical team and to contribute to its long-term growth and success.

This role will be both workshop / warehouse based. Our technical headquarters is in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Repairs:

- Fault diagnosis.
- System repairs.
- Testing and reports.

Technical Support:

- Commissioning and preparation of ink jet and laser systems.
- Preparation of appropriate equipment prior to installation.
- Continuous development and training; latest software updates, hardware updates.
- Generate customer samples and samples reports.

Operations Support:
- Collate installation and servicing paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workshop and warehouse.
- Booking goods in and out (fork lift truck training provided, if required).
- Stock management.

Skills Required:
