This is an excellent opportunity for a technically qualified and Marketing orientated individual to bring their experience and enthusiasm to bear in supporting the commercial activity for the Members of a leading Industry Advisory body.

This new role has a focus on hands-on development of technical and promotional material for our Members, to further strengthen the competitiveness and enhance the attractiveness of their products and solutions in the market.

You will also manage the collection, analysis, and dissemination of market intelligence (including competitor activity) to provide feedback to the Members, together with the action points generated and associated recommendations.

All this activity is with the overall objective of increasing the Members’ success in market competitiveness, and to help maximise their conversion ratio of specification requests to firm orders.
In turn, you will have:

- A relevant technical qualification such as a Degree in Civil Engineering or the equivalent.
- Ideally, an in-depth technical understanding of drainage and similar areas design and installation, together with general experience in construction and infrastructure.
- An understanding both of the range of materials used in these areas of construction and also how they are typically specified and procured.
- An enthusiasm for, and competence in, the creation and development of Marketing collateral that with help support Members in their Sales activity.
- Confident in managing multiple and simultaneous projects, and accustomed to working in a collaborative and co-operative style with colleagues from different disciplines to take those projects from conception to completion within deadline and budget.
