In this position, you will be responsible for supporting technical client interactions with software applications as well as the implementation and on-boarding of new accounts. This is a new exciting position which has been created due to a restructuring of the IT team and the growing need for responsiveness to both internal and external customers. The successful applicant will report to IT Software Developer.

Your Tasks

- You will be responsible for the Customer Integrations and Software Support mailbox/ tool for both internal and external customers
- Supporting Sales with Pre-Sales activities (technical implementation details), and potential site visits
- Handle customer technical queries and issues
- Manage the technical implementation of customers into our software portfolio
- Monitor scripts and oversee automation to minimise disruption to the business and its customers
- You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining user guides for software applications as well as testing and fault finding in software applications
- Documenting and raising software defects with necessary parties – internal development teams or 3rd party providers
- Remotely accessing/ supporting clients with applications
- Weekly project/ integration progress reporting to IT project manager

Your Profile

- You will have past experience in handling technical customer queries and troubleshooting as well as running or being an integral part of a service desk
- You are able to validate and map user and business requirements to the correct level of technical integration
- You have experience of working with or a firm understanding of the following technologies: CSV, EDI, FTP, API, JSON, XML, SOAP, and SQL together with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, notably Excel
- You will be able to work efficiently and independently with clear English language skills both verbal and written
- Have the ability to prioritise and maintain a high level of clear and concise communication whilst under pressure
