Job title: Technical Account Manager
Reports to: Sales Director

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) need to function as a true partner to our customers by listening to their needs and developing a deep working knowledge of their goals, key business initiatives , technical challenges and infrastructure configurations to deliver an outstanding experience.

Duties and responsibilities

- Serving as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Building and maintaining strong long- lasting client relationships
- Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximise profits
- Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicating the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Developing new opportunities within existing clients and/or identifying areas of improvement to meet sales quotas or targets
- Forecasting and tracking using our CRM system key the account metrics (e.g. weekly/quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Preparing reports on account status
- Collaborating with sales team to identify and grow new opportunities
- Contribute by providing regular content for our social media and web site feeds
- Assisting with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Work with and in support of our technical and operational teams in developing understanding of potential solutions and pitching to prospective clients
- Taking responsibility for health and safety whilst at work for both yourself, colleagues and others who may be affected by you or the company’s work activities
- Undertaking any other duties that may be required that are commensurate with the level of responsibilities attached to your job role.
- Can demonstrate successful work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or other relevant role
- Experience of a similar role within the IT/ Technology Sector and / or the Software Sector
- Can demonstrate experience of CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho), ACT or ConnectWise

Good technical understanding of solutions of three or more of the following:
- Microsoft SBS
- Office 365
- Azure
- VMware
- Airwatch
- RDS
- Dell Servers
- PC’s and Laptops

Professional and Organisational Qualities

- Experience of a similar role within the last 5 years and BA or BS degree or equivalent
- Demonstrates good listening, influencing and communication skills.
- Is able to manage successfully a number of competing priorities
- Demonstrates a sharp attention to detail when managing projects or tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
