We now have a significant new opportunity for a Racing Operations Team Leader with outstanding staff management skills to join us to lead the Racing Data Operations team in Howden, East Yorkshire.

You'll manage the team responsible for creating betting markets for US racing events, during evenings and overnight, managing workload and developing the team to maximise their potential and ensure they deliver an outstanding service.

As Team Leader, you’ll have overall responsibility for managing the team in all aspects of the running, maintenance and continuous improvement of Live Racing Services that run through the evening / night.

With the support of two Shift Leaders and two Senior's you’ll be the primary contact for our customers including Bet365, William Hill and Paddy Power, building and maintaining excellent relationships.

You’ll work closely with management and direct reports to identify operational efficiencies to ensure we provide the most productive and cost-effective solutions for live racing data collection, production and distribution and help to design and implement changes.

This role is pivotal to business performance and your success will be a big focus of the business and help you to be recognised.

Previous experience in the industry isn’t a necessity, what’s more important is proven leadership skills and outstanding communication and organisational skills.

You’ll be able to demonstrate how you have motivated teams and influenced positive and professional behaviour to achieve business goals in the past as well as managed change and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role you’ll need strong numerical and analytical skills combined with a methodical approach. Due to the nature of the industry you must be willing to work flexibly including evenings, weekends and overnight
