This is an exciting opportunity to work with this national development agencies growing Learning and Talent Development Team to support their flagship Talent Development programmes. These programmes support new and established craft makers to develop their practices and their businesses. The successful candidate will be confident at engaging diverse audiences in meaningful and empowering ways.

This role is a full time post delivered as a job share between two people, both working 2.5 days.

Main Objectives

Co-ordinate and provide administrative support for the Talent Development programmes. These include their flagship programme for new makers, Hothouse and their programme of professional development workshops.

Deliver to a high standard, within budget, on time, working responsively to programme’s needs, and with excellent customer service.

Main Duties:

- Support the Talent Development Managers to deliver their Talent Development programmes including responding to queries, ensuring widespread marketing, and coordinating selection processes.
- Work with colleagues to ensure that all opportunities are accessible and shared to diverse audiences
- Liaise with partners and colleagues to finalise venue bookings and programme dates and act as point of contact for smooth delivery of events.
- Provide paperwork for all elements of the programme, ensuring that information is returned and database records are kept up-to-date. This includes event agreements, agendas, welcome packs and documents that support the mentor / mentee relationships.
- Act as a first point of contact for programme participants, contractors and partners, deal with enquiries and produce replies to correspondence.
- Capture, review and share feedback from participants of Talent Development programmes to inform development of programmes, ensuring that database records are updated regularly.
- Develop communication with programme alumni and support organisation to improve long term relationships with makers.
- Update and monitor team budgets, ensuring that programme expenditure is recorded accurately.
- Support team members with their diary planning, preparing materials, and travel bookings.
- Carry out general administrative work including record keeping, expenditure logging, mail merging, filing, and archiving.
- Work closely with colleagues across the agencies to ensure the organisation-wide approach to learning and talent development programmes is coherent.
- Undertake any other duty which may be reasonably allocated

This position may include occasional evening and weekend work.
