The vision here at this Leisure Centre, is to be the leading facility and service provider for swimming lessons here in Cookridge, Leeds.
Set in the grounds of an eighteen hole championship golf course, floodlit driving range and mid-seventeenth century house, they house one of the most successful swim schools within the local area.
To help them to further this vision, they are looking to recruit two new exceptional swimming instructors to come and join their team and to help expand their program again next term.
If you would like to apply for one of these positions, then applicants would need to be able to demonstrate and/or hold the following qualifications and experience.
Qualifications
- ASA/UKCC Level 2 Teaching Swimming Award
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and/or
- National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches Certificate (NRASTC)
Experience
- Minimum of one/two years worth of teaching experience, delivering both group and individual lessons, and to a range of mixed abilities.
- Knowledge and experience of the ASA National Plan for Teaching (NPTS) and/or National Plan for Teaching Foundation Framework.
They are looking for individuals to start with immediate effect, in order to support the expansion of their program next term.
