This company is looking for an experienced insurance surveyor. Their office is based near Farnham and they cover the south home counties

You would be responsible in attending properties that have had domestic damage, scheduling the works and submitting it to the insurance company in their specified format for approval.

Once approved you would handover to their contracts manager to book in the works.

Responsibilities:
- Attending domestic properties to determine the cause of damage and prepare an accurate schedule of works
- Surveying the incident promptly, prepare a full report for insurers containing photos, measurements and costs on their clients bespoke systems
- Ensuring adequate cost control measures are in place on a claim by claim basis
- Agreeing variations and final accounts
- Meeting with loss adjusters and negotiate with the adjuster / insurer for authorisation to carry out repairs
- Sourcing materials to allow works to be booked in.

Skills & Experience:
- You have a good knowledge of insurance schedule of rates (But isn’t a necessity)
- Experience within a similar role preferable
- Good knowledge of the building trade
- Good computer skills
- Good organisational skills
- Clean Full driving license
- Able to work as part of a team

Salary £30K to £35K + Company Car
