The family are looking for a caring, professional and reliable female Support Worker for their 13-year-old who lives with her parents, older brother and younger sister. She is intelligent, with a bubbly personality, enjoys shopping, fashion, eating out, meeting and socialising with friends. She is creative, enjoying arts & crafts and loves writing. She has cerebral palsy, uses a wheelchair and enjoys walking with her walker. She is dependent for all her care needs, including personal hygiene. educational, social & leisure activities.

The family are supported by full-time nanny/housekeeper.

- Split shifts: Monday-Friday 06:45-10:15 then 13:45-20:00
- This is a term time role with a minimum of 20 hours a week (39 weeks a year)
- During holidays shifts may be available from 09:00-17:00 or 17:00-21:00
- A premium hourly rate recognises the school term morning shift
- The morning routine includes getting ready for school, including personal care, taking her down to breakfast, driving to school
- The afternoon/evening routine includes preparing dinner, shower, follow the therapeutic programme, downtime includes watching TV or relaxing with her iPad, prepare for bed

You must have:
- Passion for working with children, calm, trustworthy, reliable with a sense of humour
- Awareness of safeguarding and the rights of young people
- Undertake care and support tasks in discussion with her parents
- You'll be a competent driver, with a full, clean licence and enjoy driving distances
- Accompany the family on holidays if required and provide support and assistance
- Provide a safe and happy environment
- Enhanced DBS certificate for child workforce
- A good level of spoken English

Pay rates:
- Monday-Friday £20.00 per hour - 06:45 to 10:15 shift
- Monday-Friday £14.00 per hour afternoon/evening shift
- Saturday and Sunday - £16.00 per hour

The family home is in Northwood, Middlesex HA6
