Due to growth, this company has a new position for a technical support analyst to join the IT team.

Full on-the-job training will be given to the right applicant and there are excellent opportunities to further your career in IT support within the company.

The successful person will have prior experience in a busy help desk environment

Salary range £30-40,000 PA depending on experience

Key Job Duties:
- 1st point of call for all Support related issues
- Responding to support calls within strict SLAs and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handling support calls and escalations from end users
- Attending customer sites to resolve issues which cannot be handled remotely
- Preparing and building customer equipment as required
- Ensuring the smooth day to day running on infrastructure and performing maintenance as required.
- Completing projects as required, including researching and testing new products and technologies
- Promoting new products and services to customers
- Liaising with customers on technical aspects of sales from enquiry through to delivery
- Automating keys areas of the business

The successful candidate should have extensive practical knowledge of:
- Service desk environments
- In depth knowledge
o Windows and MAC environments
o Active Directory and Azure AD administration
o O365 and Google administration
o Azure and AWS administration
o Hyper V administration
o Windows Server 2012/2016 administration
o Installing and managing networking equipment such as Firewall and switches, and associated configuration such as VLANS and wireless networks
o PowerShell and scripting

Desirable but not essential:
- 5 years background in an IT services role
- Industry certifications. Such as MSP
- Full UK driving license
