Working from new premises near Harrogate, this is an exciting opportunity for a senior / capable administrator ready to take on greater responsibility in supply chain management & production scheduling.
Duties/responsibilities:
- Place & follow-up purchase orders with overseas & local suppliers / sub-contractors.
- Manage optimized inventory levels to achieve demanding service level targets.
- Schedule in-house production & finishing work.
- Sourcing new suppliers locally & overseas.
- Monitor & prepare productivity and cost reporting.
- General production & warehouse related administration tasks.
Requirements:
- Relevant purchasing or supply chain experience within a manufacturing, engineering or distribution business.
- Exceptionally well organised & responsible self-starter , capable of working with limited supervision or support.
- Excellent IT & admin skills. Must be competent Excel user with knowledge of Sage 50 a plus.
- Highly numerate with ability to analyse & interpret data accurately. Accounting admin experience/ training beneficial.
- Responsible & highly committed team player, with customer focussed can-do attitude.
Working Hours:
8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday with ½ Hour Lunch Break.
