This company would like to offer a keen and enthusiastic individual a great opportunity to join them in delivering 1:1 Student Support remotely via phone calls, emails and SMS to students in Post-18 Higher Education institutions in and around London.

You will be responsible for monitoring and supporting students who are considered to be at risk of non-progression, vulnerable or disengaged. Your aim will be to help them get back on track by providing proactive Student support and appropriately referring them to other Student support services such as Academic Skills workshops, Pastoral care and Counselling services.

They are a new start-up education agency, with the vision to help students achieve success in their degrees and academic journey at University.

You will be confident in working with a wide range of students to help develop their planning, organisation, time management and academic confidence. This will be done remotely through weekly coaching-style conversations delivered through Phone calls, Whatsapp, Text messages and Emails.
*All training will be provided*.

The role is part-time and allows you to work a portion of your hours flexibly from home. Laptop, phone and headset will all be provided.

The main responsibilities of this role include;
- Delivering coaching-style conversations via Phone, Whatsapp, SMS & Email
- Helping students to manage their calendar, assessment deadlines
- Helping create action plans for the students academic year
- Signposting your student caseload to relevant information and support services
- Writing up meeting notes and inserting into CRM database
- Managing student caseload to ensure all students are engaged
- Sending out time relevant communications to students
- Writing up interim reports on student progress

All employees are subject to an DBS check.

Person Specification:

- This role will suit a recent graduate with a degree at 2.1 or above
- Applicants with a 2.2 or below who are due to start or have a completed a post graduate course are also encouraged to apply

*Essential requirements*

- Have access to internet at home in order to be able to work remotely
- Must be able to work from our office - (closest station Seven Sisters) at minimum 2 days a week.

*Desired Skills*:

- Excellent organisation and administrative skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Able to work independently
- Confident telephone manner
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good time management
- Any experience in student support, mentoring, coaching, youth work and/or providing customer service.

Working Conditions:
Type: Part Time, Fixed Term
Hours: 20 - 25 hours per week (depending on student caseload)

Duration: 7 months including probation (with a possible extension)
Training: All Training included

Start Date: October 1st 2018

Deadline: Friday 14th September 2018.

Salary: £9 per hour, £18,000 pro rata
