An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stores Person to join our team in our Slough SL1 postcode. The Ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in an industrial warehouse on their own or in a small team.
This position is part of a small team of workshop engineers working with the sales administrators / contract engineers supporting our customer’s needs to the fullest.
You will be tasked with the organisation and running of a busy stores / warehouse including goods in, goods out, picking & packing along with many other warehouse duties.
In addition there will be a caretaking role required for repair and servicing of equipment on site either yourself or by arranging specialist contractors.
As you will be working by yourself you must have strong organisational skills, be bright and able to self-motivate yourself to complete tasks. A good level of computer literacy and numeracy together with clear communication skills will be required.
A current forklift and driving licence is required as loading and off-loading of vehicles is a key part of the role.
