A Stores Person/ Maintenance Assistant is required to join a leading carbon fibre engineering company supplying components worldwide directly into; Formula One, Motorsport, Aerospace and Automotive customers.
Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hour per week, 08.00 – 16.30, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.
Salary: £8 - £10 per hour dependent on experience

About the role:
They are seeking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic person to join their site team. They are looking for a willing, responsible person to become part of a hardworking and supportive team to assist the management of the business. The successful candidate will also be responsible for undertaking minor maintenance works such as general DIY tasks as and when required.

Responsibilities:
Maintenance duties
- Minor repairs as required
- Inspection and replacement of fluorescent light tubes when required
- Ensuring the general condition of the premises is to standard.
- Ensuring that all caretaking equipment is in a safe and working condition
- Regular weekly checks of the fire alarm system
- Maintain and record accurate site and machinery servicing records as required
- Regular levels check of all plant and machinery
Cleaning duties
- Create and implement a Floor cleaning, Vacuuming, Sweeping and Moping rota
- To be pro-active dealing with any on site issues relative to the role
- Proactively ensure that the presentation of the facility is continuously improved
General duties
- Accepting deliveries of stores and equipment and arranging storage where necessary
- Driving, delivering parts to and from customers and suppliers
- Restocking and maintenance of all WC facilities
- Control of company waste disposal, complying with all regulatory restrictions
- Restocking venders when necessary
- Restocking Coffee and snack machines daily.
