Due to a successful growth within the Company an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Stores Manager to join one of the leading Door Entry & Gate Automation Specialists based in West London.

Working alongside the team, as the Stores Manager you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the Stores including ordering in stock for projects & repairs & to re-stock the engineers standard van stock following service calls. This is a challenging role working to tight deadline & being responsible for ensuring we get the best pricing and from correct authorised distributors.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Placing orders for parts required on our inhouse system & ensuring they are ordered in a timely manner to fulfil our Client KPI’s
- Keeping their inhouse system updated. Assigning stock to jobs/ Updating notes on system re. parts
- Organising the return of damaged/faulty products & ordering non-standard parts
- Being responsible for cutting keys or equipment preparation for projects
- Being responsible for replenishing the Engineers van stock & the safe return of non van stock from Engineers if unused.
- Provide a weekly updates/ reports for Weekly office meeting.

Skills & Experience:
- Previous stores or technical experience
- Purchasing and procurement experience beneficial
- Technically minded
- Excellent PC Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.
- Fluent English spoken and written is a must.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be pro-active and able to work on your own or as part of a team
- Must be a good team worker.

Working from 07h30 to 16h00 this job will suit a technically minded person with a ‘can do’ attitude, a keen eye on detail and great organisational ability.
