This company is a leading supplier of premium worktops in the UK. Due to expansion they have a vacancy for a ‘Stone Mason’ / ‘Worktop Polisher’ to manufacture Quartz, Granite & Marble.
They have a list of very high end clients the design and undertake the most challenging projects which range from Celebrity Kitchens Worktops to Premiership Football Grounds.
They are looking for candidates who have experience working with stone materials and are familiar with wet diamond polishing tools. It is essential that you are able to work to a very high level of accuracy / quality. It is also important to be a team player and you are able to achieve deadlines allocated to each project.
It would be a great advantage to have worked on the following machinery..Bridge Saw / CNC / Thibaut.
Also if you have associated skills and are familiar using handtools we do offer full in house training and will offer this as a trainee position with a salary to match experience.
You will be based in their new purpose built factory in the centre of Kendal and work within a small, friendly team. Hours of work Monday - Friday 7-5pm and overtime will be available
