The stock control person is responsible for accepting all raw materials into the factory, checking them against their purchase orders and booking them into stock.
Good physical fitness is required as you will be manually handling bulky and heavy items.
You will also perform weekly checks for core components we use and perform monthly fabric stock takes to ensure our stock levels are correct on the system.

The production operator aspect of the role involves prepping production runs using the chop saw to cut aluminium extrusions and tube to size for the roller and vertical blind lines, assembling roller blinds and packing products into boxes.

Core responsibilities:
Goods in – Checking and accepting goods into stock before booking them in on our in-house computer system.
Stock control – Physically checking stock levels periodically to ensure the stock levels are correct on our computer system.

Production operative
- Using the chop saw safely and effectively to prepare production runs
- Assemble roller blinds
- Packing and dispatching orders.

About the person:
Good physical fitness as booking goods in requires a lot of manual handling and putting away of stock.
- Is reliable and hard working.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent level of attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft excel and computer systems. Comfortable in creating and updating spreadsheets in a timely and effective manner whilst maintaining accuracy.
- A quick learner with a can-do attitude. The company is still expanding so organisational changes will happen to make improvements, we are growing a hard-working team that will grow with the company and reap the rewards for their hard work.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Previous factory environment and preferably production experience is required.
