This is a delightful traditional family-run country pub based on the outskirts of Sevenoaks/Tonbridge in the quiet hamlet of Underriver near Hildenborough set in the heart of rural Kent.
They are looking for a Full-Time Sous Chef to join their well established team
The applicant must be able to integrate effectively as part of a team,
Responsibilities will be to support the current Chefs with the ability to cover holidays etc, ensuring that all standards are maintained to the required level.
The successful candidate will be working in a vibrant busy environment with seating for 100 covers in their restaurant, bar and garden. The restaurant offers an informal menu of fresh, seasonal and flavoursome food.
The ideal candidate:
- Energetic, passionate and customer focused
- A minimum of 1 year experience
- Good presentation skills
- Stock and waste control
- Good knowledge of hygiene and health and safety standards
- Commercial and business awareness
