The company is a creative hub for innovative education software. Based in Liverpool, their circus-themed offices delight staff and visitors alike with a ball pool, caravan, popcorn machine and grandstand. Their web-based software is used by every local authority in England, as well as thousands of schools, children's centres and nurseries, nationwide and beyond.

They are looking for a self-motivated individual, passionate about software and quality. You will be working within the test team and alongside the technical team that cover the flow of work from Design through to Development and Deployment.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of online software, and for encouraging confidence in products, both internally with the wider staff and externally with users. To do this you must gain a thorough understanding of the whole range of products, the UK education sector and client needs.

The company is looking for someone with at least one year of experience in web testing. You will need to create and run multiple test cases, and track and maintain defects. They will want you to look at all aspects of testing software through functional, regression, performance, load, and cross browser testing.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

> Methodical manual testing ability
> Ability to understand complex product requirements
> Understanding of web testing such as security, performance & cross-browser
> Ability to create test cases
> Good attention to detail
> Excellent English reading & writing (including grammar, spelling and sentence structure)
> Ability to clearly articulate scenarios which cause software defects (verbally and written)
> Confident approach in discussing tests and potential errors with other departments
> Ability to work on multiple projects and adapt priorities accordingly
