Roles and responsibilities are:
- To provide 1st and 2nd line software support to a variety of customers
- Internal IT support
- To provide analytical support to developers and other departments
- Continuous quality improvement of software support services
- Performing studies and diagnostics on data to highlight patterns and errors
- Support existing systems, as well as helping with migrating to new and improved systems
- Take ownership of issues and perform root cause analysis
- Provide timely progress updates to customers and management
- Assisting in software testing as required
Essential skills required for this role are:
- A close attention to detail

- Strong verbal and written English skills
- Good customer and colleague relationship skills
- A proactive attitude towards your work
- Good knowledge of networking (IP, Ports, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Etc.)
- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows XP, 7, 10, and Embedded variants
- Practical experience of Microsoft Windows Server, all versions
- Practical experience of Microsoft SQL, all versions
- Remote management experience
- A minimum of 2 years in a computing/IT support role
