This is an opportunity to join a small, friendly team as a Software Support and Customer Service Representative working for an established IT company based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. The company provides a comprehensive range of workforce management solutions. This is a customer service role, providing telephone support, training and documentation for the software they develop.
As a Software Support and Customer Service Representative you will join the Customer Support Team and assist the Support Team Leader in delivering excellent support and training to the company’s customers.
Duties to include;
- Managing and resolving customer support calls
- Delivering customer training
- Assisting with the design and development of training courses and courseware
- Assisting with the maintenance of product documentation
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of the corporate website and social media campaigns
- Liaising with the Account Managers to ensure that they are aware of problems and opportunities
- Maintaining and updating internal customer and prospect databases
- Assisting with marketing campaign preparation
The successful candidate will;
- Be computer-literate and have an interest in the latest technologies and trends
- Have relevant experience in IT and software, although full training will be provided
- Have an understanding of relational databases and computer networks
- Likely to be educated to at least A Level or equivalent
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be articulate and confident
In return they are looking to offer a starting salary of £17,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience. The company offers a performance-based salary review after six months.
