World renowned thought leaders and specialists in the provision of document management solutions and other support services to the global pharmaceutical market, are expanding rapidly. Due to the company's growth they are currently on the lookout for a detail oriented, analytical and enthusiastic Technical Project Manager to join the team.

This fixed term Maternity cover role with a start date of August 2017 would require you to initiate, manage and drive technical projects within the organisation (internal projects and client projects), primarily involving the development and rollout of the solution to global pharmaceutical clients. To bridge the gap between business requirements and technological solutions – acting as the bridge between the business and IT to understand, document and implement change; transform processes using technology to optimise organisational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
- You will be accountable for translating internal/customer business requirements into suitable service and technical solutions.
- Successful implementation by driving the project team, ensuring appropriate communication and follow through from all project stakeholders, managing regular project communications/updates.
- Budget management of the projects and reporting to management.
- Providing input into budget proposals, RFP’s etc as required by the Business Development department.
- Reviewing and documenting existing processes: -
o Developing to-be processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
o Reviewing, understanding and documenting project requirements (business and technical).
o Assuming project management responsibilities for resulting/existing business process improvement projects and ensuring that projects are delivered within established scopes, budgets and schedules.
o Examining current projects and providing input, and improvements to existing processes and project management.
o Running multiple projects simultaneously.
o Coordinating and directing the involvement of relevant individuals and 3rd party developers/support organisations and coordinating communications across functions and locations to ensure ultimate project success.

Personal Requirements:
- Previous experience of a technical PM role in a cost conscious environment.
- Experience of building strong relationships at different levels across the organisation.
- Understanding of the regulatory environment (GxP).
- Experience of the software development process, including computer system validation.
- Willing to get involved in the detail, and drive projects through.
- Prince 2 qualification preferable.
- Ability to write clear, concise documentation, both client facing and technical.
- Ability to define and document testing strategies.
