A talented .NET developer is sought by a well-established independent company based 7 miles east of Doncaster. Founded in 1993, the Company provides high quality reservation systems for coach operators and coach tour operators and currently employs 12 staff members.
In addition to developing and supporting back office applications, the Company also provides and hosts cutting edge e-commerce web portals for the travel industry. It offers support and training to a client base ranging from small independent operators to some of the largest coach holiday companies in the country.
The Position
This is a key technical position within the Company. Primarily the role will be developing and supporting the Company’s existing range of travel based products, plus developing future industrial strength software solutions. It is an ideal position for someone who is willing to work closely with our clients to deliver solutions that meet their needs with passion and enthusiasm.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and support the Company’s existing products web/cloud products.
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code.
- Develop products with new and existing clients.
- To liaise with internal and external product developers.
- To work closely with and mentor our Front End Developers and Product Support staff.
- Liaise and attend meetings as necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
The Person
The ideal applicant will be an experienced .NET developer who is capable of working in a demanding environment with the skills and prior knowledge of mentoring a Front End Development team.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and working experience in the following:
- ASP.NET Forms using C#
- MVC and Angular Typescript
- MS SQL Server
- Good front end skills - HTML, CSS, JavaScript JQuery, Entity Framework
- Good understanding of application development lifecycles
2 years experience desirable of full .Net and C# development and experience of bringing products to market.
