This company was formed in 2002. From their location in Devon they serve Clients across the UK and overseas. They work across many different business sectors delivering bespoke software and integration solutions on a variety of platforms including mobile, web and desktop.

They are looking for a new Software Developer to join their growing team. The primary role would be maintaining and developing software projects on a range of platforms and for a range of Clients.

Key responsibilities:

- Analysing Client requirements and designing solutions
- Developing new products and bespoke software solutions
- Maintaining an existing suite of products and bespoke software solutions
- Managing the testing and release of software deliverables
- Creating and maintaining relevant documentation

Key skills and experience:

Technical:

- C# (Essential)
- MVC
- HTML, CSS, jQuery
- SQL Server

The candidate must possess excellent programming skills with a good understanding of design, usability and interactivity as well as knowledge of software development standards and a commitment to keep up to date with technology.

Non Technical:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability to work alone or as part of a team
- A passion for IT with a willingness to expand their own skills and knowledge

Knowledge of the following is preferable:

- VB.NET, ASP.NET, NET Winforms, WPF and Xamarin
- Bootstrap
- Microsoft Azure
- Windows Server and desktop operating systems
- Microsoft Office suite

The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ commercial experience in software development and formal training such as MCSE, MCP or the equivalent.

Salary from £30,000 to £35,000 based on qualifications and experience.
