Are you looking to work in a fast moving, dynamic and evolving business based in Exeter? Do you have proven experience with ASP.NET, ideally with some knowledge of JS Frameworks such as Knockout, Angular.JS or ReactJS? Have you experienced working with Web Services and APIs?
Due to another exceptional year we are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated .Net developer familiar with C# and VB.Net.
You will be taking a lead role in the development of their business critical SaaS systems, as well as applications (web services and APIs).
As an excellent team player with good communication skills and a strong attention to detail, your are self motivated and are able to work independently or as part of a larger team. Able to meet deadlines, you will be working on a variety of projects using different technologies.
Require Skills/Experience
- Excellent ASP.NET MVC
- C# / VB.Net and MVC skills
- SOAP and RESTful Web Services/APIs
- Knowledge of TFS version control (or similar) and Visual Studio
- JavaScript, jQuery
- AJAX
- XML
- Some knowledge of Knockout, Angular.js, ReactJS or similar would be beneficial
- SoapUI and similar web services debugging tools
- HTML/HTML5
- CSS, SASS
- Some knowledge of TDD, Nunit or similar
- Agile methodology
- Able to create technical design documents and follow change control procedures
- Experience of T-SQL and design/development of MS SQL Server databases
They have several exciting projects in the pipeline, including migration from Classic ASP applications to .Net based solutions using latest technologies, responsive design experience (Bootstrap, material-ui, glyphs etc).
You should be a good communicator at a technical level, analytical and able to understand and present complex solutions and explain issues within the technical team.
