The company is an international food and drink business to business publishing and digital communications company.

JOB SUMMARY
The Social Media and Campaigns Assistant will be responsible for effectively running all of their social media channels, writing content and generating multimedia assets to enhance engagement and grow our audience.

The main aim is to effectively promote the overall brand and its B2B products and services, through the given social media channels, alongside creating a strong strategy to be able to do so.

The Social Media and Campaigns Assistant will provide lead generation support for our awards campaigns and subscriptions services through social selling and sales prospecting and will also support other marketing activities when required.

The role reports to the Senior Marketing Executive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social media
- Oversee all company social media account management.
- Writing and creating content (SEO-rich blog posts and video content) as well as liaising with our in-house designers to create compelling graphics and campaign assets.
- Build and execute the social media strategy to achieve set KPIs.
- Create and implement email marketing campaigns and automation.
- Create social media campaign calendars and campaigns.
- Analyse and drive insights for improving performance to increase engagement to all social media channels.

Business development

- Lead generation and social selling support for our awards and subscriptions campaigns.
- Researching potential client opportunities.
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone.

ATTRIBUTES
Requirements:

- A keen passion for and knowledge of social media.
- A desire to pursue a career in B2B marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have an appetite for new technologies.
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability.

Ideal but not essential:

- Experience in producing and editing videos (Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro or other relevant software) and multimedia assets.
- Proven working experience in social media marketing, copywriting or digital technology.
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Adequate knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO and PPC of an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to use marketing automation software and to create engaging email campaigns.
- A degree in marketing, business, media or equivalent qualification.

THE CONDITIONS

- Permanent, full-time position
- Hours 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
- The notice period will be one month on either side (following a 6-month probationary period)
