This company is the industry leader of imported private and exclusive tyre brands, including Davanti, Evergreen and Landsail. Established in 1980, the company has grown rapidly over recent years, and now employs around 300 people. In the past couple of years Oak has opened two new major distribution hubs as part of its ambitious and on-going expansion strategy.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse stock controller to drive and improve stock integrity. The Stock controller will work closely with the site operations managers and the Stock Control Manager and play an integral part in ensuring optimal customer service is provided. They will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong processes and structure to improve integrity.

The successful candidate will have a passion for the automotive sector, and demonstrate drive and determination to achieve goals and objectives.

Duties include:
- Cyclical checking of stock
- Communicating any stock issues quickly and efficiently
- Investigation of any stock issues, this will be done through system interrogation and questioning members of the warehouse team.
- Auditing stock movements and changes.

Essential Experience, skills and knowledge:

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong IT skills – including Excel
- Flexible attitude to working practices to fit the dynamic requirements of the operation
- Ability to work in a team and on own initiative
- Warehousing experience preferably in a stock management position, full training will be provided

Package: this is a salaried position at a rate of £21,740pa with a bonus opportunity of £1800pa.
Hours structure: 48 hours over 5.5 days between the operating hours of 6am and 11pm
