Job Title: Site supervisor/Project manager
Location: Based in Sussex
Salary: £30 - £40k depending on experience. Car package to be discussed.
An ambitious and expanding quality driven building company based in Polegate, East Sussex, are looking for a site manager/project manager role to manage and supervise direct staff and subcontractors. Determine and order plant and material requirements. Ensure projects are completed to strict time, cost and quality targets. They primarily work in Sussex but may venture into the South East and London.
Responsibilities include:
- Allocating staff to specific projects.
- Preparing project programmes and then managing them.
- Control information flow for projects and ensure up to date.
- Keep accurate records of own and team activities.
- Ensure health & safety levels are maintained and paperwork up to date.
- Liaise with customers and clients on a regular basis.
- Support surveying department to ensure tight cost controls.
- To ensure KPI’s are delivered accurately and on time, reported, managed and communicated.
- Prepare and /or update risk assessments and method statements, COSHH assessments when necessary.
Skills required;
- You are able to manage yourself and others in general day to day site activity.
- Strong willingness and optimistic attitude to grow the role.
- Enjoy working independently and sometimes alone without constant supervision.
- You must be proficient at using Microsoft, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Internet explorer.
- Be able to manage expectations and priorities in terms of time, cost and quality.
- Have a great team ethic and enjoy showing loyalty and support to each team member.
You will also have to be a great finisher who is determined to get the results and persist until the task is completed.
You will need your own car and a valid and clean driving license.
You will receive a salary of £30 - £40k (dependent on experience)
