Salary - Salary £31000, OTE £36000

Mechanical Site Formean - Salary £31,000 + overtime (realistic OTE £36,000) - Based Stanton by Dale, an easy commute from Derby and Nottingham

This company offers a wide range of mechanical services to predominantly the water treatment industry across the UK. They provide dynamic, flexible and progressive solutions including plant & machinery removals, transportation and installation, industrial pipe-work supply and installation, contract lifting, mechanical building services and general maintenance work.

This new role is a product of the company’s expansion and you will be an integral part of the team.

Main Duties - Mechanical Site Foreman

The role of the Site Foreman will include:

- Supervising and coordinating the onsite workforce to manage the program and production.
- Monitoring and inspecting the work carried out by the onsite workforce.
- Assisting, encouraging and inspiring the development and training of employees.
- Enforcing, monitoring, auditing and recording to ensure the workforce is carrying out work in line with legal obligations and health and safety standards.
- Completion of RAMS as and when required by the Project Engineer / Manager.
- Liaising with the client on a day to day basis.
- Recording additional work / materials or delays that could cause additional cost or program delays.

Essential Skills & Experience

To be successful you must have the following skills and experience:

- City and Guilds apprentice trained or experience within a similar role, along with a solid and demonstrable track record as a Site Foreman in a similar mechanical environment.
- SSSTS
- Have knowledge of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Be able to read both P&ID and GA drawings along with producing sketches for component parts to be manufactured to.
- Be able to communicate clearly and lead effectively with a track record of managing a workforce.
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude.
