Salary

Circa £20k maximum, based upon experience, skills and qualifications. This opportunity has arisen due to the previous person in this role being seconded to handle an exciting new business channel for the company. If this new venture is successful then they will then be running their own department having worked here for less than two years. The next success story could be you! They are a company that has grown every year and so they would like to keep right candidate on permanently so long as it meets the business needs.

Job Role

They are looking for a person who can work at pace but also can handle some incredibly valuable and fragile items. Almost all of our high value pieces are one of a kind and if it gets dropped it will be gone forever.

You will need to be comfortable working without being closely supervised and organising worldwide logistics.

You will also have some interactions with our very top clients so excellent verbal and written English is a must as well as a polite and helpful manner.

Responsibilities

- Handle, pack and ship pieces of film art, memorabilia and costumes worldwide some of which will be extremely valuable.
- Understand the complexities of international transportation administration (carnets, customs declarations, temporary exports etc)
- Manage and prioritise work in a fast paced environment.
- Interact with other key staff and stakeholders in a small team.
- Follow company procedures and processes relating to inventory management.
- Accurately track project progress using company systems.
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Deal with a small number of client calls in a professional and enthusiastic manner.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

- Passion for films and the movie-making process.
- Attention to detail when packing and making safe intricate and delicate items.
- The ideal candidate must be able to manage their time effectively, they don’t miss their deadlines and so neither can you.
