Located in London Bridge SE1, this company is a fast-growing UK based manufacturer of electric bicycles.

They are currently in an exciting growth stage, and as part of this expansion they need the operational side of the business to be aligned with their sales demands.

They are looking for a full-time Service Manager to join their busy team with responsibility for creating, implementing and managing processes and personnel, to ensure a premium service for anyone who engages with the company.

The role is primarily based at their London office, but will also include attending events, visiting customers, occasional travel etc. You will be reporting directly to the directors of the business.

Tasks:
- Manage all personnel involved with the operation side of the business
- Implement and manage new processes to ensure the full “start to end” company experience is superb
- Implement rules to deliver a strong internal support team, and clearly defined employee roles
- Train personnel on new processes, and manage the transition from “old to new”
- Continually evolve and improve processes leading to an even better customer experience
- Deliver a streamlined team and streamlined customer experience

Experience and skills required:
- You have experience in project management, team management and management of implementing change
- You are capable of consistently delivering a first-class customer experience, and remaining calm and measured even under hectic workloads
- You have excellent communication skills
- You are data driven and drive decisions using a mix of data and common sense
- You have a good understanding of continuous process improvement, and are confident in implementing new processes even if they “ruffle a few feathers”
- You have an intermediate to expert level of Excel and Microsoft Project (or similar) and are Word and Powerpoint savvy
- You have at least 8 years experience in similar roles with a provable track record of success

- You are confident taking ownership of the tasks necessary to deliver results
- You are proactive in identifying risks before they become issues
- You are confident in pushing through your planned changes from a staff management perspective
- You have excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data
- You are degree educated and have learned additional relevant skills during your working career
- Language: English, additional languages are a plus
- You are hands on and quick to pitch in if you see someone struggling
- You are well measured and logical.
