This company is one of the leading suppliers of sheetmetal and fabrication machinery in the UK. Located in Stafford they are leading industry specialists in the supply, commissioning, service and repair of the very latest machinery technology including CNC press brakes, guillotines, laser cutting machine, plasma cutting machines, folders and bending rolls, as well as servicing the industry with more conventional machinery.
Predominantly a field based role this will include but not be limited to installation, commissioning, service and repair of metal working machinery with a bias towards CNC machinery but also includes conventional machinery.
This position is predominantly field based, mainly in the West Midlands, East Midlands, Yorkshire, Humberside, North West and North East areas.
- Previous experience of working with metal working machinery would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic drawings & control systems.
- Demonstrate a level of competence with CNC controls and other technical associated applications.
- Proven high standard of workmanship in all fields.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with the ability to work alone and under pressure.
- Ability to communicate in all situations and at all levels of an organisation
- Must hold a current driving licence for a car
