This leading supplier of 3D printing and scanning equipment throughout the UK is seeking a Service Engineer for the installation and ongoing customer support of the HP Multi Jet Fusion range of 3D printers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join their HP print team while in its infancy with huge potential of growth over the coming years, as you become part of one of the most progressive 3D printing technologies to hit the market place in the last 20 years.

The job would suit a dynamic individual perhaps looking for a career change, as full training on all aspects of the job will be given. This would begin with a 10 day intensive course with HP and ongoing support to bring you up to speed as quickly as possible.

The successful candidate will be equally at home with regards practical skills, as well as software competence; ideally some form of CAD knowledge would be preferable. The position involves hardware installation, onsite support, training and demonstrations of the HP 3D printing technology. In addition the candidate will be required to learn their range of 3D scanning equipment to aid in demonstrations and service bureau 3d scanning.

Key Duties

- Installation, integration and support of the HP range of Multi Jet Fusion 3D printers.
- On-going support for customers including, hardware and software upgrades. Answering technical queries both onsite and by telephone
- Training of customers on HP 3D printing hardware and software.
- Processing of internal documents and reporting through the HP internal systems.
- Assistance to the sales team in providing benchmark 3D prints and supporting the demonstration process.
- Assistance with 3d scanning hardware demonstrations and service bureau work.
- Manning trade shows and exhibitions throughout the UK.

Key Requirements

A highly organised individual capable of planning themselves independently. A practical hands-on person is essential for the installation of HP hardware, as well as being proficient in 3D software installation and usage. A good and analytical problem solver, able to demonstrate root cause analysis. All training will be given.
- Higher Engineering or similar qualifications preferred (HND or above including degree level)
- Windows knowledge and experience in 3D software.
- Valid Driving License
- Strong trouble shooting skills
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
